19th April 2022 - Easter Break

Thanks to Easter bank holidays and a couple of days in lieu, I have 
had a bit of a break from work. Thursday was spent faffing with 
computers while Friday was spent visiting dementia Grandma. She was 
surprisingly lucid again. If you ask her about something, she will not 
remember but she will bring up things from the recent past. My uncle 
had visited with his puppy the day before and the puppy was wild. I 
asked about this visit and she stared blankly. Yet 10 minutes later, 
she mentioned aboutthe chaotic puppy. Weird. Saturday was spent in the 
garden. My lawnmower gave up very quickly by releasing magic smoke so 
I had to get a new one. After some 6 years of use by me and 10 years 
from my grandparents, I cannot complain. I did a lot of weeding and 
planted some new plants. Sunday was spent clearing up and aching. My 
sister in law came to visit on Monday while on the way to a course. It 
was nice to see her and her baby bump. She left today and I spent the 
rest of the day faffing again. Not a bad break and certainy more 
social than I expected.
