7th August 2022 - Explorer Camp

This weekend was a quick and easy explorer scout (14 to 18 year olds) 
camp. We started by going to a trampoline park place for an hour and 
then the explorers had to find their way to the camp site. Alright, 
the camp site was one of the leader's garden but the point of the camp 
was to relax as a group. The weather was nice and sunny at 24 degrees 
Centigrade. The explorers have all either grown some more or changed 
their hair. Lots more colour than usual! There was lots of chatting 
while sitting around a fire. They all left this morning before lunch 
so it really was a quick social affair. It was great to see them even 
if I am always glad to see them go home at the end of a camp. It is 
nice to be able to offer such a camp alongside the ones where we do 
stuff in the woods.
