Because of a discussion in 'party' on grex, I'm currently very excited to build a z80-based CP/M homebrew computer. There are several designs out there, some on breadboards, others on PCBs that you purchase with the traces already ready already... I'm not sure what to go with. I don't really want to go with a "kit" because I want to really feel that homebrew feeling. I'm thinking a breadboard might be the way to go. There's a 9 IC design out there that looks simple enough, and runs the drives off a CF card. Now I just have to find the time to do it :) The 9 IC design has two serial ports, and I already have a Briel PocketTerm that I can use to get an interface. Should be fun!
