Some days the words come easily, others the blinking cursor mocks you. Today 
is one of the latter...

I quick peruse of the daily headlines was enough to give me a headache. 
Nothing great to report in US politics - that's for sure. 

I did manage to stand up my mail server in a VPS sucessfuly (after a few 
failed attempts) Now Thaweazl has their own email address for the first time 
since the late 90's. Engaging in the smol internet and fediverse will be a lot 
more fun without using a Google-ID for everything!

It's been really interesting bringing back skills that I thought were 
long-gone, and becoming self reliant for my Internet services.

I think the next step will be to replace my cloud storage with something 
self-hosted. I've done a demo setup of the project Immich - a Google Photos 
replacement - and it works amazing! Once I acquire some large-enough drives, 
I'll be fully replacing both Google Photos AND Adobe Cloud.
