In about a month, I will be attending my favorite niece's wedding. Brianne and Will (formerly known as Rebecca) are getting married. For context, they have both decided they are trans? I don't know much- I don't find it interesting or compelling, to be honest, I don't believe in it at all. I just know that one must be careful about the words one uses around trans people - it's very confusing and seems complicated to me. At any rate, I don't care. I am touched that Brianne offered me to say a few words. At first, I decided I wouldn't because I was afraid I might slip out the wrong name or pronoun or wrong word. It is very difficult for me to speak freely when I am worried about censors. But what I would like to say is: I dearly love both of you. And, I am so blessed to witness one person saying to another, "I want to exist with you. I want to always be connected to you, and I never want it to end." "I don't see you as a body, nor as a mind, nor as a memory. I see you, and I love you, and I accept all of your possible pasts, and all of your possible futures, unconditionally, forever."
