Is silly how people think I'm constantly wasting time in the puter because I "chat too much with my online friends". The only one wasting time by themselves is _only_ me. I'm the moron here. January, 13-14 2025 That's all I wrote then, I've been slacking off on writing, but I've been focusing on drawing; which is also good. January, 14-15 2025 Another productive day, I feel really nice today. My life is taking a small turn into the good, I can't be sure it'll last a lot, but tonight I feel nice. ### On how to start your project By project I mean story, it can be any media, comic, tv show, movie, video game, and so on. First, you have to get familiarized with what you're gonna do, a story, in any media. See how other people do it and try to take small bits of these things you liked about their project/stories, for yourself. But is not about doing a copy-paste, is more about taking inspiration and giving it your personal twist. Say you want to make a story about a baby bird who's learning to fly. The person you are taking inspiration from, made it so the bird learn from a friend. But you can change what happens in the end, by mixing different things you like; thinking 'what if', or thinking how would you make the story better. Once you have enough references for what you want to work on, you should start by typing a rough draft, a single line of what's your story about. Like "Story about a fallen angel who fell in love with a demon" as simple as you can make it. Then, the best path is to start working on a lore book, this is where all the information should be; is only for you to know everything about the story you're making. Note that if you're new at this, try to make the story as short and simple as you can. Is not advised to adventure on a long and complex story when it's your first time or you're an amateur. Once you have all the information you can think about, it's time for the next step. Now you have to prepare _how_ are you going to tell the story to your audience, in here is also important to think about what kind of audience you'll point your content to. This is important because you can't just be completely self indulgent and ignore how the people are going to look at your work. This part is also quite difficult, because you need to make sure your story is presented in a way that makes people interested to keep reading, engaged. That's the main job of the first chapter, or bit, if your story is going to be short. Make sure that, if you read/watch it yourself, you can successfully corroborate that's interesting to you; try to pretend you're just another rando part of the audience.
