Someone who has trouble settling on any particular passion for too 
long, but typically cycles rather than discards, so it works out 
all-rightish. 

Grew up in southern California; have a love for the US Southwest 
geography and deserts in particular. In Utah now and not 
particularly happy about it culturally/politically, but the 
geography can be amazing. 

Spiritual take is "look for meaning in what you find meaningful." 
Not everything has to have logic behind it - let yourself enjoy 
the human experience. Not making sense sometimes, and accepting 
that, is liberating. Religiously skeptical/agnostic. 

Hobbies include playing music (badly) on the Appalachian dulcimer 
and occasionally piano, casual video gaming, programming (mostly 
Python), low-tech digital art, used to read fantasy and sci-fi but 
now mostly listen to audiobooks (kind of regret that). 

Self-proclaimed environmentalist who particularly enjoys the 
philosophies of Edward Abbey. 

Perpetually distro-hopping Linux enthusiast who tends to prefer 
Arch (btw). 

Alarmed to see the country crumbling and have been protesting in 
various ways.
