In the JS scripts section, I added my own version of the
Battle City game, similar to Famicon Nes, but with random
levels! I'm still transferring data to my new Athlon X2
based computer. I hope to be able to make new server
updates in the near future. I also periodically write short
notes in Phlog about various topics that are important
for me.

Attention, I have an accident! My main computer, a Sempron
3000, almost caught fire. The capacitors have swollen
completely. Twelve of them have bulged on the motherboard
and the power supply unit. The computer was 20 years old.
I will solder the damaged parts later. Therefore, in the
near future, I will be transferring the system and my files
to another computer with an Athlon X2 processor. I will
also be installing Windows XP. As a result, I won't be making
updates for a while due to data transfer and preparing the
new system unit.
However, today I made a small update. I added a multimedia
UFO encyclopedia to the Windows 3.1 software section! See
you with the new computer hardware!

I have added some programs to the office programs section,
such as DosViewer and JPG Cleaner, and to the utilities
section, I have added a program for creating bootable
versions of Windows for USB flash drives starting with
Windows 2000, called WinSetupFromUSB, as well
the UniFlash utility for saving your own BIOS in your
BIOS ROM! I also periodically write short notes in Phlog
about various topics that are important for me.

- very strange file tool. To the "Drivers" section added Mac

As experience shows, despite the huge number of application
programs, users of legacy systems remain hostages to the lack
of choice. Many programs have disappeared, and many have simply
been forgotten. My goal is to bring back the forgotten tools
for offline work that do not depend on the internet. As always,

I don't know what caused such interest in programs for Win3x.
Perhaps this is an experience that many would like to repeat.
However, due to the fact that other servers available mostly
Shaware versions of programs, it becomes a hassle. I am aware
of this. Since you are interested in the cultural environment
of Win16, I have decided to develop this topic. Although
I have some very good and useful programs for Win9x-WinXP
waiting to be uploading. I'm making this update for Win16
as a tribute to the corsairs still roaming the internet
from Win3x. It's truly commendable.

During my work with archives for Windows 3.11, I discovered
a few additional items. To complete this topic, I also added
them. The section software for Windows 3.11 now includes
text utilities: MicroEMACS, Yeah Write 1.7 - a document
organizer, WriteOn, and JustWrite - two text editors, as well
as six new beautiful Screen Savers! As always, everything
has been checked and tested for functionality in Windows
3.1. In the section "Original desktop themes for Win9x and
wallpapers," I added Win95 Plus!, Barry Press Utilities for
Win9x, and pack of 33 DLL's icons for Win95. In the office
programs section, I uploaded Nostalgy Works Pack 3.1 - a
nostalgic office suite with classic Windows 3.1 programs.
In the utilities section, I added 95 Multi Booter 2.0. Now,
we can return to the topic of more modern and actual
software.

I have taken into account the feedback from some visitors
regarding the lack of Fixed software for Windows 3.x. I am
aware of the protocol issue https://, which involves only
hosting demo versions of programs for Windows 3.x that
require activation and tend to frustrate users of these
sites. People have limited free time for hobbies due to work
commitments, and they do not want to spend their leisure
time installing non-functional software on their vintage
386-486 computers. Moreover, they prefer not to venture
beyond these computers during their work. Therefore, they
using gopher:// or ftp:// protocols. This is indeed a
compelling argument for me. Consequently, I have decided to
help address this problem as best as I can. Since around
2003, I have not spent as much time in Windows 3.1 as I did
this past week. I went through many of my archives and
tested programs from them, some of which I barely
remembered. Unfortunately, some data has been lost. However,
in total, I have added 28 new archives to the Windows 3.x
software section. Many of these programs are so unique that
you are unlikely to have heard of them. I will list of these
programs: WinSysEx, WinPlay version 1.0 (!), Real Audio
Encoder, Steinberg's Music Box, Wham, Midi Session, Easy
Mod, Cd-Wizard, GoldWave 2, WinCMD 1.61/2.0, WinBar,
Visio 2.0, Photo Finish, Mini Office, MapInfo, Daily Journal,
InfoMap, ImagePals, Planix Home Architect, Hex Works Shop,
Corel Draw 5D, Complete Works, Convert Artist, Claris Works,
CardShop Starter, Add Depth, and 3D Home Architect, Long
File Names Support for Win3x.
Detailed descriptions can be found in the Windows 3.x software
section. These programs will give you a new perspective on
your vintage 386 and 486 computers. All of them have been
tested and Fixed in Windows 3.1, so there should be no
compatibility issues. If you are looking for something else
that is not listed in this section, please write in my
guestbook. I will try to add it. Windows 3.x users, unite :)

I forgot about an important issue. In the section "Actual
patches and system utilities for old systems," a subsection
called "Screen and monitor tools" was created. Here, I placed
programs for DOS and Windows that allow you to save
monitor settings. For example, in games, to save the screen
refresh rate between 75-100 Hz. In the section "Useful things
and widgets," I added a program for cracking forgotten
passwords in WinNT called L0phtCrack, as well as the
ShutDown utility for scheduling computer shutdowns.
Also i keep making notes in Phlog.

I continue to restore from memory the topics of backward
compatibility, drivers, hardware, and so on. Today, I added
the following: in the Drivers section, the most powerful
universal printer driver, FinePrint, as well as a utility
for remote management of a computer using any external
device (for example, a TV remote control) - SlyControl.
In the "Actual patches and system utilities for old systems"
section, I added utilities such as WinKill - an analog of the
Linux command for killing processes; an extended mouse
and keyboard management utility; the MyRunAs launcher
utility for running programs under a different profile in
WinNT 4.0; and Cleannew for cleaning the "Open With"
menu.
In the Network section, I added UaixRoute, a utility for
automatically updating Windows routing tables. In the "Useful
things and widgets" section, I added Fire Reboot, a utility
that performs a quick system reboot correctly with the option
to save the user profile.

My friends know about my hobby, so they gave me their old
CD-R discs from the 2000s to find something useful for you.
I've been slowly going through these archives all week, and
here’s what I found for you: New MIDI files from TV shows,
movies, and video games. Now there are 800 MIDI files
available Online. No SMS or registration required ;) The
office software section has been updated with some cool
tools: Notepads for source code: Xint Notepad, nPad2;
PSMPlayer, a special program for listening to and converting
files from buttons phones, such as MMF files; EasyCadViewer
and PRCExplorer, two viewers for AutoCAD and PalmOS files,
respectively; Two stuff with a cyberpunk design: Aidsoid, an
image viewer, and TextEdit 1700, which has a really strange
design reminiscent of movies from 1995. System utilities:
Mouse emulator via NumLock keyboard. HDD thermometer.
Delete Doctor for forcefully deleting protected files. Useful
programs: Ghost Automizer - creates scripts for automatic
buttons pressing on a schedule. DataFuck alters the time for
Shareware programs. Rainlendar is simply a beautiful
calendar with skins. Networking and internet: Zerat, a news
client for Usenet with a GUI. TCPview, no comments needed.

ago for PHP8x. The script is called Modern TreeView 97'
forum.
The TreeView Forum 97' script is designed for simple and
quick communication within industrial facilities, scientific
laboratories, or technical communities. This script is a
modern replica of the popular treeview-based forums from
the mid-1990s, originally written for CGI-BIN. TreeView
Forum 97' is completely free and is designed for those who
are not happy to viewing information in table format
on modern BB forums.

I have completed work on my old project for industrial
laboratories and office spaces called Local Industrial Works
Chat Final Version. This script has not been seen or used
by anyone, as I didn't manage to finish it back in 2017.
I pondered for a long time whether to complete this script
or not. However, seeing the interest in Local Industrial
Portal, especially among visitors from Germany, I decided
to finish the unfinished project of the industrial chat for
local laboratory corporate networks. This script also includes
a local mail system, a wall, and more. In general, feel free
to visit the PHP scripts section and download it. As always,
no SQL! Just PHP 5x and simple settings in the files. The
script is designed with the principle: install, configure, and
forget.

I continued to look the archives on this CR-R disk.
To Useful things and widgets section Hacking, encryption,
serials subsection I have added new local databases of serial
numbers and keygens: Angus 3.0, Octavius 1.1/1.2/1.3,
Oscar2000, Ripper 1.0, Serials 2000 6.0/7.1 + updates.
Thus, about 60000 more serial numbers have been added
for the old programs covering the period from 1990 to 2002.
To the Web1 Museum has been another hacker website from
1997 has been added. I added MDB Access files viewer and
password recovery kit for old office software before 2003
to the office software section. I continue to view this CD-R
disc for new useful things and their subsequent cataloging

It seems that I accidentally discovered a large database
of serial numbers for programs from 1995 to 1996 on my
old CD-R. I added another website with many serial keys
to the Web1 old hack sites museum. Also to Useful things
and widgets section Hacking, encryption, serials subsection
I add Serial Killer base for DOS, OSCAR serial keys 1998
base and Serial-0-Matic serial key base. Thus, we now have
at our disposal the largest database of serial numbers for
old programs known to me!

Today I added some useful Stuff's.
A collection of icons consisting of 21 258 icons from Windows
3x has been added to the "Original Desktop Themes for Win9x
and Wallpapers" section. This is the largest collection of icons.
The Winkey Killer utility has been added to the "Actual patches
and System Utilities for Old Systems" section. The "Useful
things and Widgets" section has added the Send to toys editor
(send to menu editor), a Screen Savers creation program,
Rainbow Folder for coloring Windows folders, title Time and
DS Clock. Excel to SQL converter and Winamp Skin Creator,
as well a the Pics to Exe file utility, have been added to the
"Office and Multimedia Tools for Legacy Systems section".

I've been messing with this update for a very long time.
The archives were scattered across CD-R discs and it wasn't
entirely clear what I was dealing with. But still, I managed
to organize these files. Here's what I finally uploaded to
our server: Soritong 1.0 mp3 player, Fractal Music Editor,
Composer Wav Editor, Zip Genius, Zip Central, XAce Plus,
WinImp archiver, GodeZip, CoolZip, Arj2Folder, Dvd Speed
util, Region Killer for DVD, DVD Genius, DVD Drive Info,
Ulead Avi Studio Full, PaeZip, BB Avi2Mpg2 converter, Jp2
desk and AltDesk for Win9x/2k.
I have created several new subsections in the "Other software
for legacy PC" section. Now the Video and Audio utilities are
separated, as well as native and non-native archivers. Thus,
I managed to find archiver programs that we had all forgotten
about, video and audio file editors, as well as a number
of other small desktop programs. In general, this update
is quite successful and interesting. But it is mainly focused
on Win9x/2k systems.

I am finishing the topic of beautiful forgotten office
software. I tested it and added the following programs:
BDV notepad 1.41, Edi 3 Rich Text Editor, EditPad
Lite Notepad, Sci 5.5 - Scientific Editor, Win Editor
and Win Pad. Each of these programs will help you
diversify your work on your computer. Many of them
support programming language syntax, encodings, rtf
files, and much more. I also noticed that on the so-called
"retro sites", there are almost no programs that we have
used for many decades. Perhaps, in reality, there aren't
many people left who work with legacy systems "Every day".

I keep creaking, groaning and poking around here for the
benefit of GopherSpace. It's amazing how many great
programs have been forgotten by civilization. Today
I added two office suites, Ability Office 2002 and Easy
Office 2001, two versions of the Win9x-XP "Speed
Commander" file manager, as well as two versions of the
Jewish calendar, a some of icons packs, a program for
creating two desktops in Windows 98, and a training
program for diagnosing cardiograms. My internet is still
unstable and working terribly.

Concluding the topic of actual programs for Windows XP,
I have added the following: Techno CAD/CAM and CAD
Pro are two free Cad tools to the office software section.
KingSoft Office 2012 has also been added there. To the
"Useful things and widgets" section, I have added two schema
building tools Proficad and Plan. In addition, in the "Other
software for legacy PC" section, I have added a complete
package of programs for all versions of Windows for
creating and playing Karaoke on any legacy computer!
I also accidentally found a collection of 675 1024x768
desktop images from the late 90s and posted them in the
"Desktop themes for Win9x and wallpapers" section. Also
I uploated the Gees mp3 player for Windows 95 and 16mb
RAM!
Unfortunately, I am now experiencing Internet problems.
I have no access to many servers. But it seems I managed
to deal with the task of publishing my software experience
in Gopherspace.

I decided to add a some of relatively new programs that
still support Windows XP. In the file managers section,
I added: Black Commander, Dos Zip Dos/Win32 version,
Multi Commander, "Shitty" Explorer, File Voyager, Nexus
File Manager. In the "Useful things and widgets" subscription
"Math, calculations and algebra" section, I added two cool
programs Simplexety and Prime Factors 1200. A simple
CSV file editor has been added to the Office Software
section.
It seems to me that I have already dug up everything I can
in search of useful, fast and functional software that does
not contain embedded advertising and other modern horrors.
I regret to state that the programs of 20 years ago, in many
cases, turn out to be better and faster than their modern
counterparts. Windows programming is degenerating. It is
this feeling that does not leave me when I test the software
for this server updates. There are really few good programs.

There were only a small number of useful programs on the
hard disk. Nevertheless, I discovered some relevant things.
To the "Desktop themes for Win9x and wallpapers" section
I have added two professional programs for creating and
editing icons and cursors.
I have added utilities for editing audio and video files to the
"Other useful software for legacy pc" section. These are
programs such as: All Media Fixer, Vidmex, Mp3 Surgeon
Lite, Melody Mod Player, Media files fixer.
In the "Office tools for legacy pc" section, I added: Cool mp3
Player, FooBar mp3 Player, Flash Player, Photo Zoom Tool,
Photo Filtre Tool, Pivot animator, Web Buttons Studio and
another else Gif Animator. This old hard drive was only enough
for three upgrades. Let's see what I find next time in these
endless shelfware.

I gained access to one of my old hdd from 2009 that contains
installations of various software. Therefore, today I added
11 programs to the "File Managers" section: Double Commander,
Explorer++, Pablo Commander, Unreal Commander, WinNavigator,
ExplorerXP, Free Commander, Quadro Dir and File Craft, Fiman,
File Navigator 1.70.
For Windows 9x - Windows XP. As a result, the total number
of file managers on our server has reached 56! Meanwhile,
I continue to explore the hard drive for other interesting
and forgotten programs.

Viewer to the "Office Software" section, I added Chemisty
Virtual Lab Education Program to the Useful Software section.
In the coming days, I will work with the programs for the
diagnosis of computer equipment and networks that have
remained with me since the 2000s.

the all "Scientific and Technical documentation utilites" to the
Office Software section. STDU is a great programs for Windows
2000 and higher with GDI+. They are designed for easy reading
and viewing of document files and images.

Remembering the days when I was a young engineer. For this
reason I have added the following programs: True RTA - real
time sound analyzer, Sound Tone Generator Software, Electronics
training program, Oscliscope for Windows (this is note joke),
two programs for plotting graphs. All this has been added
to the "Useful programs" section, Science and education
subsection. In the "Network severs programs section"
I added a program for transmitting sound signals over a local
network. In "DLL and Wrappers" section added The Shorthorn
Wrapper DLL's allows you to run programs from new versions
of Windows 8+ in Windows XP/Vista/7/2003 server.

discs - Deep Burn and utility for restoring damaged files from

second collection of games for Pentium 133 and Windows 9x
and a pack of desktop games by the topic of "Tank wars games"

I finished the epic viewing old CD-Rs with programs for Windows

Useful software section: Sticker program, Quick Run Soft util,

Other software section: Safe Backup Archiver, Optimal Weight
tool, Audio CD converter, AltaPlayer for DVD/AVI.
Everything has been rechecked on a virtual machine to ensure
it works! Also some inaccuracies have been corrected. All links
have been rechecked. A screenshot of the desktop test Windows
XP with programs from my Gopher has been added to Phlog.

This update is entirely dedicated to programs for Windows XP.
The Office programs section has been updated with utilities for
removing unnecessary objects from photos. In other words, you
don't need to know Photoshop to make professional photos. Also
in the Office software section, a converter of Fb2 books to any
other document format has been added, as well a program for
reading electronic books Cool Reader.
Some utilities for decorating the desktop have been added to
Desktop section. And in the sections of Other and Useful programs
a simple emulator CD/DVD Virtual Clone has been added, and
also a collection of 18 screensavers and another utility for
tracking phases of the moon have been added. The file manager
File Master 1.2, a minimalistic clone of Total Commander, has
been added to the file managers section. These programs served
me well during the Windows XP years.

section. Also I created a small museum with copies of hackers sites
from the mid to late 90's in the Links section. And upload a number
of important programs for Windows 3.11.

I updated the Windows 3x section with 43 more new programs.
I used most of them back in the days of my 286 processor, a copy
of the HDD from 2003 of which I used as a starting point for my
memories of my experience working in Windows 3x. Unfortunately,
the copy of the HDD turned out to be slightly damaged. I searched
for some programs from memory. In general, I thoroughly checked,
corrected, tested everything and, most importantly, where possible,
made it portable, that is, not requiring installation. Thus, unlike
other servers, I do not make you suffer and select serial numbers
and other things for programs from 30-35 years ago. You can simply
take your old computer and start working in Windows 3.11 right
away. Please note that all programs are 16-bit, it meaning you don't
need to install a problematic update to run Win32 applications
in Windows 3.11 I really don't know where this idiotic tradition
of trying to run Shaware Win32s applications in Win16 came from.
There is no sense in it and there never was. In general, I'm glad that
I finished working on this part of my life experience. If anything
further will appear on Windows 3x here, it will be individual
updates, the existence of which I most likely simply forgot about
because of the long time ago. Thanks for staying with me and the

A large amount of work has begun on sorting out and testing
the "heaps" of software for Windows 3x. I prepared a virtual
machine with Windows 3.11 for software testing. In connection
with this, I added the network card and video card Win3x/DOS
drivers for Virtual PC, added tips on network setup for Win311,
and also updated the screenshots of Windows 3.11 in our
Gopher. I will start testing software packages soon and this will
last for a very long time. I plan to create a separate section
of "actual" software for Windows 3x. Looks like my old CD-Rs
and floppy disks never out... Well, let's continue...

two smallest Proxy servers in the world, as well as the

NAT/Firewall/Proxy servers Usergate. There also other

I traditionally test them on a virtual machine, I will

It unfortunate omission that I am correcting. I needed to
remove flash from the Windows XP computer, for this
I needed programs for working with the registry, which
I did not have in Gopher. I am correcting this error. In
the utilities section I added three programs for
professional work with the registry in Windows 9x - Vista,
as well as a flash removal utility, as well as a database
update for Serials 2000 in the "Useful software" section.

I finally gathered my strength and find all the universal
drivers for Windows NT-7 that I knew of. Thus, the drivers
section is updated with universal drivers UniAta, Raid,
MSM, non-standard floppy format diskets, vga. In general,
drivers that help solve the problem of transferring old
systems to new equipment or vice versa.
Also added universal CD-Rom drivers for Dos, universal
Covox drivers and universal video drivers for Windows 3x,

I finally got around to the problems with memory over 4GB
in Windows XP-7 32 bit systems. In the drivers section
I have uploaded a patch for updating support of 128 gb
ram for Windows XP-7. Also a patch for manual updating
of Windows XP to solve this problem. And a patcher for
exe files, allowing old programs in Windows 64bit to use
more than 4 GB of RAM, instead of the permissible 2 gb.

With the growing interest of people to BBS, I decided
to additionally place Telnet terminals for Windows.
In the section of other useful programs, I placed Telnet
terminals that I have tested many times: NetTerm 3/4,
MTelnet32, TaraTerm32, NetRunner 0.09, ExTerm 1.2,
NT CRT 3.46, Sync Term 1.0 as well as a patch with fix
displaying ASCII graphics in the Windows console.
Also, in order not to go through the CD-R disks twice,
I added two classic IRC clients to the same section:

Today I added utilities to the useful widgets section:
program for teaching Morse code, a TV screen tuning
grid, calculator of inductors, selector of resistors by
color. A COM port AT terminal has been added to the
section of other useful programs. In the office software
section I added file converter to UTF8 encoding. Also,
especially for you, in this section I have placed my
portable version of the Front Designer 3.0 program.
This is a simple CAD utility for drawing various kinds
of labels on cans, packaging and elsewhere.

Always exist something else! I added a new subsection
to the Other software for legacy PC section, Psychotronic
tech and fields. In this section I have placed a program
for generating brain waves used in brainwashing, as well
as additional presets for it. Also i was adds some programs
that can cause epileptic seizures and altered states
of consciousness.
A micro program has been added to the utilities section
that shows MD5 hashes for files, a utility for an expanded
number of non-printable Unicode characters has been
added to the DLL/wrappers/mappers section, and a micro
utility has been added to the local networks section that
allows you to directly transfer files via the TCP/IP
protocol. Everything works in Windows 98/XP.

A pack with 6 very small graphic utilities has been added

I continue my experiments. Script for multiple connections
to IRC servers has been added to the Mirc scripts section.
I added another php chat to the section of my scripts
developments on Php 5x. This time it is a simple chat room
similar to an IRC channel room for communication without
users registration, a replica of the original chat from 1997.
This is a very economical chat for you resources, even if
there are will be 100 people in room, your server will not
notice its work.

I finished viewing and testing programs from this CD-R.
As a result, out of 12 programs for working with graphics,
only three turned out to be efficient and convenient:
Embelish, 20/20, Art Gem. All of these are photo editors
created specifically for viewing and processing photos
using a variety of effects. I especially recommend the
20/20 utility. I uploaded all this to the Office programs
-> Graphics software section.

I finished checking the archives from my old CD-R disk.
Unfortunately, not all file managers turned out to be
useful. Nevertheless, I have added 12 file managers for
Windows and the console, among them there are both very
simple and convenient programs, and serious things for
professionals. I added a utility for organizing Mp3 music
catalogs to the office program section, added the world's
smallest email client for POP3 to the other programs
section, and added a quick notes utility and virtual menus
for the system tray to the widgets section.

Guys, thanks for the feedback. Yes, I know that you can
find a computer in a trash heap and use it for full-time
work. Yes, I also know that most of the application
programs presented here work fine even in Windows 8.
Thus, we come to the conclusion that virtually nothing
has changed over the past 20 years. Let's think about
this.
Continuing to sort through my archives, I found an
interesting CD-R disc. There are a lot of interesting
things on it. Gradually I will upload everything here.
Two spreadsheets KyPlot and Sphygmic, as well as two
full-fledged office packages 602 PcSuite 2001 Pro and
Budgie Office have been added to the office programs
section. You will be surprised how small and functional
they are.
In the widgets section I added WinGlobe, an algebaric
and programmable calculator, as well as an extension for
quickly sending Copy To files. In the system utilities
section, I added a program for monitoring system
resources, as well as a system for collecting data
of your hard drive - DiskData.
I also discovered that I have more than 25 different file

a screen ruler, screen capture utilities, and a fractal
generation program.
In the section of useful office programs, the graphics
subsection, I added 18 small but very useful utilities.
These are image viewers, programs for working with
color and tags, several simple 2D CAD systems that will
work everywhere, as well as programs for drawing diagrams,
working with file icons and creating GIF animations.
It looks like my epic with digging up my old works
archives is coming to an end. Since the archives are
gradually running out. Although perhaps I will find
something else on the forgotten disks.
I know from my own experience how big a problem with
Legacy systems for to find one place where you can
download everything you need for them is too hard.
In the near future I plan to sort through the archives
of DLL libraries and mappers. And this concludes the
current batch of my old archives.

Windows to the office software section. Abykus 3.0 is

that fully work with DocX files. Unfortunately, I can't
find anything on the modern Internet, so I had to test
a couple of dozen utilities until I found something
that really worked.

Wi-Fi for Windows 98/2000 update.
I continue to sort through old notes and archives in
search of things worthy of being placed in eternal
storage in GopherSpace. For some reason unknown to
me, pages with information about Wi-Fi support for
Windows 98/2000 were blocked. I had to spend some
time searching for these lost utilities. Thus, I present
to your attention an update to the "Networks" section
with Wi-Fi clients for Windows98/2000. Now you can
download six different Wi-Fi network clients in one
place. Three clients for Windows 98 and three clients
for Windows 2000.
Another couple of years and there won't be anything
useful left in HTTPs... Move to Gopher before it's

a lot of people complain that they can't figure out
Gopher logic. This place was created specifically
as an entry point for all wanderers who were
accidentally brought here.
I replaced the buggy Foxit PDF DocX Viewer with
my portable version of TexMaker Viewer 2009 for
Windows XP. Just unzip the archive and work with
documents.

expectations, as it requires the installation of an
additional Microsoft update package to work with DocX
documents. It has been replaced by my portable versions
of AbiWord for Windows 98 and Windows Xp. The portable

additional system update packages.

ToughDev based on the Chinese GoOO Office and

I created another section with Windows 9x desktop themes
and original wallpapers of those times. To this, in principle,
I can say that work on my Gopher:// is completed and the

I uploaded 13 fully Internet Explorer compatible games
to test how JS works in Gopher. I also posted a separate
archive with all these games in the same section. The
experiment confirmed that JS works fine even if you
use a Gopher:// server as the host.
I'll be working on desktop themes for Windows 9x soon.
As it turns out, there are about 50 +/- of these themes in
my archives. I need to systematize all this and place it
here as well. I haven't found anything else worthy of your

Off topic. Experiments...
Experiments continue. I made a small section with JS
online games for the browser. This is proof that there
is no difference between http:// and gopher:// if the
browser supports JS. So you can play these Gopher
games through Internet Explorer or any other browser.
My theory that .htaccess is originally a copy of gophermap
is confirmed. The first WWW sites actually used .htaccess
as a navigation tool, similar to gophermap. This way, anyone
can use JS scripts inside HTML in the Gopher:// protocol
as well as in HTTP:// if the browser supports it. You can
see the screenshot in the section for yourself.

You will laugh, but I again forgot about important things
dedicated to Legacy systems and working with them. In
the patches and utilities section, I uploaded updates for
Windows 98/2000 that allow you to run applications
from Windows XP/7 with my detailed instructions for
installing and updating these systems.

I'm almost finished sorting through my archives. I probably
won't make such big updates anymore. In the File Managers
section I added 13 programs for the DOS console and for
Win32s. I am absolutely convinced that you have never even
heard of some of the file managers presented here. However,
each such program has important distinctive features that help
in your work. In the drivers section, I uploaded the three most
important patches for Windows 98. They support for RAM
more than 512 mb, support for hard drives more than 137
gigabytes, as well as support for UDF DVD.
In fact, I can say that the bulk of my work regarding file
archives is finished. And I have already placed all the most
important files here. Thanks for using Gopher!

My update rule is to offer you only those solutions that
I have used myself for many years. This time I used old
CDs that I recorded in the early 2000s, for my works.
In the Servers and Networks section I added MS Lan
Manager 2 with support for Novell networks and the
remote administration utility for Windows 9x Remote
Admin. I have added system tweakers for Windows
9x - XP to the utilities section. In the near future I will
go through all the disks and plan to upload the remaining
file managers. I also added some descriptions on working
with Gopher:// Our Gopher:// was accepted for indexing
by the Veronica search engine today.
I also conducted experiments on working with my Gopher
using Internet Explorer 6.0. And I found these actions quite
impressive. Unlike HTTP, in Gopher doesn't have to worry
about being unable to access updates and archives from the
Internet. I just went in and downloaded everything I needed
for Windows 98. It's really great!

I continue to upload some programs that I undeservedly
missed. I had to tinker a lot to find them. So, I uploated
three servers of protocols FSP/HTTP for Win32, as well
as one FSP client. Moreover, they all have a GUI. The
FreeFSP client and OminFSPd server will only take
up a couple of hundred kilobytes of your server.
A simple IRC server for Win32 with a GUI of 373 kb
in size has also been added to the servers and networks
section! Thus, any computer from a trash can can turn
into a powerful communication hub!

I'm almost done organizing all my technical experience over
these decades. This is the latest massive update with many
useful programs and archives to keep your Windows 9x/NT/
XP/DOS systems up to date. Now I'm moving on to more
rare updates, since the bulk of the archives have already
been selected and uploaded to the server.
A file manager section has been added, drivers, utilities,
and office sections have been updated.

The analysis of old archives on old hard drives has been
completed. All current programs for Windows 3.x
- Windows XP are collected and systematized. Sections
of patches, drv, networks, and other programs have been
updated. New sections of office programs and useful
programs have been created. I continue to systematize
my experience, making it accessible to everyone.

Finally, I finished revising and systematizing all my
experience working with industrial networks and legacy
industrial engineering equipment. A new section has been
created with archives of network and server software with
a list of all the protocols that I have used over decades
of my working life. Added 32 new unique archives!

I started sorting through my very old archives of files.
In the near future I will begin to publish programs that
I used in the operation of industrial networks based

New Year's surprise. I have repack the WinRampage rebuild
in such a way that now you can play three parts of the cult
game Redneck Rampage in Windows XP. All bugs
and version conflicts of executable files, grp file and con
files have been fixed. Enjoy your favorite series of games
in Open GL on any office computer!

This thing was created a long time ago. I cleaned it up and
reworked it and decided to publish it here. You can download

This time I uploaded a very useful utility for Windows XP
to the driver section.
USB drives formatting utility for Windows XP. Allows you
to format large flash cards (over 64 GB) in FAT32. Useful
for owners of old household TV or DVD players with USB
output. Since it allows you to copy a larger volume of movies
by formatting large drives larger than 64 GB in FAT32. Since
these devices only support FAT32. And as you know, using
standard Windows XP tools it is not possible to format
a flash drive larger than 64 GB in FAT32.
