This knowledge, encoded in ancient texts, now finds rigorous mathematical confirmation. Let's start with the basics. What are the laws of nature? They are the rules of the game of our universe. Newton's law of gravitation, Maxwell's equations for electromagnetism, Schrodinger's wave equation for the quantum world - all are astonishingly simple and elegant. They can be written on a regular notebook page, and some - even in a single line. Scientists take pride in this simplicity, seeing in it the beauty of the cosmos.
