       I wanted to participate in MARCHintosh this year, in celeration of all
       things Macintosh, specifcally classic Macs pre-OSX. I managed to get
       my Macintosh 512Ke to connected to other systems across the globe
       using GlobalTalk - routing AppleTalk through the Internet in ways it
       was never meant to be.
       
       Even though this sytem is coming up on 40 years old, it still amazes
       me how much it can do with such limited resources. Looking at it's
       monochrome CRT and communicating with the wider Internet gives me a
       sense of peace and accomplishment, free of modern day distractions.
       
       It's nice just to use a computer again.
