I have a break from work,
during these times, my
state of mind is better. 
I am more able to do what I want
to or need to.

The weather has been just normal
which is to say it is the way
it should be. The weather app on
my phone says nineteen degrees C.
Not furnace-like.
I would say if I keep going the
way I am relentlessly
I will have an empty house.
I am doing some redecorating.

Anyone else could
get it done in 5 minutes
but I will take a more leisurely pace.
Paint is messy, wallpaper less so.

I did focus on it for days then
I rested from it.
With paint it goes everywhere.
All you can do is keep the good 
things away from the wet paint.
I bought one roll of wallpaper
yesterday. Having torn off samples
and pasted them up on a wall.

Last week I had got up and removed
a ceiling light, 
well I never used it. 
I would like one that 
beams light straight down.
Last year I had scrapped
a suite of furniture from '94.
There was a mid nineties aesthetic.
Up to now I've been
making the best of what I've got,
now I'm branching out.
Everything should fit in with
the monochrome palette.
I think in time, it will make
sense.
