     INTRODUCTION

One of football greatest quarterbacks gets his own football game. Most people
may remember Joe Montana from San Francisco 49ers and to a lesser extent Kansas
City Chiefs fame. Winning four Super Bowl Championships was a good feat for him
then he got replaced by Steve Young. Despite there being no licenses to use the
player names, the cities are still the same. In a way, this game plays just like
John Madden almost as you have the Joe's Play Option.

        CONTROLS

D-pad = move player with the ball or defender/cycle through plays.
Button 1 = Run the play/pass the ball/choose play
Button 2 = Change receiver/defender

       GAMEPLAY

At the start of the game, choose to play a 1-player or 2-player game. Next, you
will choose the level of difficulty: Beginner, Normal, and Professional. Choose
your team. Though there are no team names, here is what they correspond to:

After choosing a team, choose your opponent. A coin toss occurs. Pick Heads or
Tails. Whoever wins will choose to receive first or kick off. Choosing kickoff
will make you receive the ball in the 2nd half.

Aside from calling a Timeout (T/O), Punt, or FG, you can choose Joe's Play (a
randomly suggested play) or go to the playbook to pick one of 17 plays to use
against your opponent while your opponent will choose one of 6 defensive plays
and vice versa when the roles change.

-Each game has 4 quaters which are 5:00 long each. After 2 quaters, you go to
 halftime and another kick off occurs. Whoever kicked off in the first quarter,
 will receive the ball at the start of the third. 

-Players can score 7 points by getting a touchdown which is making it to their
 own end zone via offense like a pass or rush. You can also score a touchdown on
 defense if you successfully intercept a pass. There seems to be no fumbles in
 this game. Technically you score 6 points, but you get a 7th point for the PAT.

-Players can score 3 points by kicking a field goal successfully through the
 uprights. It's not as easy as it looks. The ball will randomly travel at a
 random trajectory and may or may not reach the uprights but you get 3 points if
 you succed.

-This is rare but you can also score 2 points for a safety. I say that this is
 rare because you have to sack the quarterback or tackle the runner in the end
 zone. Not only do you get 2 points but you receive possession of the ball via
 kickoff.

-The most points after four quarters is a winner.
