INTRODUCTION G0100 =============================================================================== Welcome to Chewy - ESC From F5 for the PC, an adventure game by Blue Byte released in 1997. BASICS G0200 =============================================================================== You control Chewy with your mouse and walk around by left clicking where you want to go. Right click as well as pressing Esc will bring up the action menu. Select the buttons left and right and then click to use it on the main screen. The floppy disc brings up the save/load and option menu where you can also quit the game from. If you select the briefcase, select an item from your inventory and right click to get back to the main screen. =============================================================================== 03.) WALKTHROUGH G0300 =============================================================================== ___Prison___ ¯¯¯¯¯¯ When you start out, take the pillow on the bed and some slime off the floor. Take the monocle from the skeleton and also the book it is holding. Read it to find out how to escape the prison cell. Thus when the eye comes back in to scan simply throw some slime on it and then chuck the pillow into the feeding hose. After the cutscene, take the keycard from the slot and some spinach off the floor on the right. Pick up the cable on the left and walk into the next area on the left. Use the cable on the walkway to fry the Borx. Return right and follow along to the next area. Insert the keycard in the terminal and select broom icon on the left, then start the machine with the middle button. Once the droid has picked you up, smear the spinach on your feet. On the other side insert the keycard in the slot and push the button. Don't forget to take the card again. Pick up the 'Out of Order' sign and place it onto the Boka Bola vending machine after you tried it. Pick up the steel cable at the door and use your keycard on the upper left door, the slot is just behind the vending machine. Walk right and use pick up the bucket. Tie the steel cable to the hook and push the button. Push the button again and take the plot-dog. Push the button once more and enter the door on the right. Take the pliers and use them to pick up the red hot coal. Push the button on the back wall. Go back up the stairs and through the corridor. Go back into the corridor and when you go back to the main hall the droid fixing the machine will be finished. Use the machine and take the cup. Return to the torture chamber and talk to the Nemoyan 'Hot?'. Throw the bucket on his face. Talk to him once more until he reveals all about the escape route. Use the pliers on the loose stone on the left near the hot coal barrel and then walk down the secret passageway. Open the grating with the pliers. Take the paint bucket and go right into the next corridor. Lure the rat out by holding the plot-dog in the crack. Continue right and use the paint on the 'Push Button' writing on the wall. After the scene, pick up the flattened Borx. Continue right and insert the keycard into the scanner slot. Then place the flattened Borx onto the scanner. Select 'Change of priority' and 'End Communication'. Take the card out and place the new shiny gold card into the lower blue door. Pick up the good luck charm and place it on the right tube. Wait for the Borx to come back looking for this charm and use the terminal in the middle. Return to the previous room and then enter the upper door as you are told. Talk to the other Borx. Push the button in the middle and look at the monitor. Push the button until you see your red space glider and walk onto the conveyor. Open the glider and enter it. Take the translator. Leave the glider and pick up the scrap metal in the center to find a weapon. Also pick up slime to get the fuse. Use the translator on the Hermit and talk to him about his fire. Shoot the fire for a flux-o-flex. Return to the glider and enter it. Place the flux- o-flex into the slot and return the translator too. Press START to fly off. Open the grate behind the ship and enter the ventilation system. Switch the middle lever and go into the bottom left area to grab the rope. Don't worry about the spiders as they only stun you for a second. Now switch all 3 levels including the middle one and enter the narrow corridor on the left that goes underneath the floor you've been walking on. It will take you to the right where you can open the grate. Throw the rat in between the Borx. Return to the ventilation shafts and get to the grate at the center bottom. Open it and walk through. Hang the rope onto the railing and climb it up. Collect the fluid with the cup and pour it over the lever. Then pull the lever. Walk through the closed door. Use the cybercrown of the Emperor and move the levers so the Borx turn into crystals. Left lever points to the right, center lever points to the center and the right lever points to the right. Pick up the cartridge at the controls and push the button on the left. Look at the charts and use the cartridge in the slot. Take the cartridge again and leave the room. Return down the rope and walk through the ventilation shaft until you reach the ship. Enter the glider, insert the cartridge and push START to escape the prison. ___Small Town___ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Enter the room on the left and pick up the fishing pole, funnel and hose. Go up the stairs and enter the kitchen at the bottom. Look inside the drawer to find the knife so take it with you. Open the refrigerator and take the turkey leg. Close the ice box again and leave the kitchen. Leave the house entirely at the door to the right and go around into the backyard. Plug the hose into the pump and then pick up the hose to lower it into the cellar window. Back in the house, open the door beneath the staircase and go through to your burning glider. Use the hose to extinguish the flames and enter the ship. Take the translator and go upstairs. Grab a milk bottle and enter the living room on the left hand side. Take the remote control and use it on the TV. Now use the translator on the switched on TV. Use the remote to find the channel that gives you the recipe. Exit the living room and go up the stairs. Enter the door on the right. Use the translator on the tomcat and talk to it ('So what do you do?'). End the conversation and give it the turkey leg. Pick up the bone as well as the ghetto blaster. Return downstairs and go into the backyard. Cut the car seat with the knife to get across the fence. Pick up some chicken feed on the ground. In your inventory, use the fishing pole with the bone and then use the new contraption with the glass containing the teeth. Use the translator on the rooster and talk to it ('What can you tell me about the dog?'). End the conversation and give it the teeth. Take a pumpkin from the large field at the northern side and then place some chicken feed on the seesaw to get back across the fence. Inside the house, go into the kitchen and take the coffee. Throw it into the kitchen appliance on the counter. Carve the pumpkin with your knife and dump the meat into the kitchen appliance as well. Add the rest of the ingredients in it as well: milk and eggs. Pick up the mug and leave the room. Enter the upper room and use the funnel on Howard to wake him up. Exit the house and put on the pumpkin head. Go to the city. Pick up the coin on the right hand side and enter the store on the left. Talk to Holly ('What happened to you?') and Molly and use the vending machine to fix it. Talk to Holly again and ask for some paper ('Do you have typing paper?'), pick whatever options you like. Leave and return to the house. Enter it and go up into the study. Feed paper into the typewriter and then connect the cybercrown with it. Pick up the F5-manuscript and enter the living room. Use the remote until you get to the Ghosthunter show, then give the manuscript to Howard. Talk to him about everything. Pick up the rat (Surimy) and exit the house. Throw the rat into the car wreck on the left. Return back inside and open the door to the basement. Use the milk bottle on the hose near your glider and then go all the way up the stairs to the attic. Close the trap door. Remove the dead plant from the pot and plant the pumpkin seeds instead. Use the milk bottle to water the plant and finally use the rat for some fertilizer. Open the trap door and exit the house. Return to the city. Talk to Molly in the store. Go to the railway station. Use Howard to talk to the employee. While he's busy, open the mailbag to get a stamp. Use the stamp on the manuscript. Return to the store and send the manuscript off with Molly. Outside, use Howard to talk to the salesman. You'll end up back at the house. After the scene, open the mail box. Return to town. Walk a little bit to the right and get Howard to talk to the policeman. Open the phone box. Connect the ghetto blaster to the pumpkin man. In the morning give the bottle to the mayor. Enter the station to leave to the city. ___Big City___ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Talk to the paper boy and give him money for a magazine. Read it all so you get the poster and know about the studio offering a job. Walk into the dark alley at the back. Open the lock with the combination 762. After the scene, return to the streets. Give the ring to the taxi driver (click on the can sign). Go to the publishing office. Talk to the salesman for a hot dog. Use the cab and drive to the hotel. Walk down the street and enter the costume shop. Talk to the owner and then take a calling card on the counter. Read it as well. Go inside the hotel and take the cigarette butt. Back outside, give the poster and the cigarette butt to the kid. Return to the lobby and fix the water pipe with the gum. Go up the stairs and use the key on the middle door on the right twice to get the bottle and the hat. Unlock the upper door on the left and go inside. Drop the hot dog on the re-con cockroach. Leave the room and unlock the middle door on the left. After the scene, go back in your room and take the cockroach sucker to suck up all the cockroach army. Finally look out of the window and then exit the hotel. Call the cab and drive to the TV studio. Give the magazine to the porter and return to the cab. Drive to the shop next to the hotel. Inside, give the owner the costume order and get back to the taxi. Drive to the publishing office. Hit the switch behind the hot dog salesmen three times to make the cleaner sick. Ride up the platform and use the vacuum cleaner on the secretary. Return downstairs and use the costume on the phone booth. Walk inside the office to get the job. Take the pile of scripts from the 'to the printers' pile and place your own there instead. Use the telephone on the desk to call the printer. After the scene, drive to the harbor. Pick up the spit and walk right. Combine the spit with the wine bottle and then give it to the sailor. Drive to the TV studio. Hand the invitation to the porter to get inside. Take the ashtray and go through the studio to the ghosthunter set. Give Nichelle the watch. Give the Nemoyan mask to the effects man. Use the ashtray on the stage in the background. Take the handbag. Enter the talk show studio and use the device you found on Laura Letter. When being chased you need to hit the device on the wall where the effects man was standing and you'll be on your way to Amazonia. ___Amazonia___ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Open the up the crate on the right. Open the door to the tour hut and go inside. Inside, take the glass on top of the shelf, the records and the artifact. Use the pliers on the artifact. Open the bureau and take the dress and take the parrot, too. Outside, give the artifact to the trader. Go left and enter the bar. Use the parrot with the diva. Give the token to the barman and the combine the drink with the fish bowl. Give the diva her drink. Talk to the parrot until you get the lyrics for Boo Boo Ba Baby. Hand the dress to Nichelle for a long song. Give the smallest statue to Indigo. Go back outside and then enter the jungle on the left. Walk across the bridge, go left one screen you should soon be at a bush you can open. Take the machete and continue north to the marshland. Use the hanging vine (above him) to wrap it around the leopard. Pull the vine, then use Howard to pull the vine and finally use Nichelle to pull the vine. Continue on and use the machete on the rubber plant. Take some rubber and go north. Talk to the chief for a short race. Afterwards, give the medium choco-clint to the chief. Go right and take the screwdriver. Continue to the next area and use the rubber on your dugout, and the screwdriver on the #1 dugout. Return and talk to the chief. After the race, go to the main area and place the tape into the home entertainment center (VCR) and you get the VCR in return. Go through the cave and select the film-set. Talk to Nichelle. Enter the tent and take the gift certificate & sleeping pills at the table. Give the gift certificate to Jim in the Burger van. Go to the Hermit's hut, combine the sleeping pills with the burger and throw the burger into the piranhas. Go over the bridge to get the diary. Look at it in your inventory. Go the temple and find the two goons. Return to the film-set. Give the VCD to the director, talk to him and then climb the ladder on the left. Push the button to get going and climb out after the scene. Take both sliver Clints statues before you get to the temple entrance. Inside, place the final choco-clint statue on the pedestal and continue to the right. Place both silver clients on the red markings and use (stand on) the 3rd to complete the triangle. After the scenes, climb the ladder to the monkey and push the button. Return to the temple entrance and enter the Borx ship. Inside, take the radio, open the cabinet to grab a blaster and use the navigational computer to return to the big city. Once there, use the transporter module. ___Big City___ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Exit the dark alley and shoot around at your own will. After the hotel you should go right and take off the hubcaps at the taxi. Shoot the slime police control unit and use the rat on the wreck. Continue right, and go right to the docks after the short scene. Throw the rat into the bar. ___Ghost Town___ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ When you get the chance, give the pumpkin ghost in a bottle to the cowboy. Walk right and take off the wheels. Go north and place the wheels on the mine wagon and then ride it. ___Borx Ship___ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Use the doll on the door. Inside, go all the way left and pull the toilet flush. Take the slime with you. Use the choco-clint statue on the document scanner the Borx was standing in. Walk left and hit the switch. Go up the stairs and push the red button in the middle. At the end of the corridor, throw the slime on the probe like in the beginning of the game and go through the door. Back in the command center, push the start button to complete the game.
