A quick warning to time travellers: this guide is potentially heavy with
spoilers. It is best used by people who have already beaten the game and
are going back to do sidequests in the Historia Crux during Postgame play.

This guide was compiled to help people find every available adornment in
the game for your monsters to wear. It was created because there were no
other guides that organized Adornments in an easy to read and use format,
not even in the official guide.

If you don't know what adornments are, they are a decorative piece of
equipment that you can equip on the various monsters you may accumulate
throughout FFXIII-2. They offer NO bonuses or stat upgrades for your
monsters but they can go a long way in making your monsters look super
awesome. From classy bowties and stylish glasses to fantastical weapons
and fancy advertisement logos.

From the Monster menu in game simply select Adornments and start dressing
up in the items you've found. Monsters can only wear one Adornment each
and some monsters can only wear certain types of Adornments.

I originally posted this guide on the GameFAQs message boards. At request
from the community, I've decided to make into an official guide.

Q: How do I get Archylte Steppes to reset for both live trigger rewards?
A: You cannot. The gate seal is currently(16/04/12) bugged and does not
   properly reset Archylte or the associated story. You can only ever
   choose one reward. Mog's Clock (The silly answer) is the recommended
   choice over the Dragonhide Backpack (normal answer). There are several
   backpack reskins in the game.

Q: Where do I get Improved Moogle Throw?
A: On your first trip to Serendipity talk to the Mystic to receive the
   Mog's Manifestation Fragment Skill. Activate this in the Fragment
   Skills section of the Menu.

Q: Mog is so slow! How can I speed this up?
A: Collect all of the fragments in Oerba 200, 300, 400 AF and complete
   the Paradox Ending Associated with Oerba. Return to the Mystic in
   Serendipity once again to receive the Mobile Mog Fragment Skill.

Q: Mog is STILL too slow! How can I further speed this up?
A: Collect all 160 of the fragments in the game and then return to the
   Mystic in Serendipity to recieve the Clock Master Fragment Skill.
   This skill drastically increases the speed at which the game plays.

Q: How do I increase the drop rate on Chocobo Afros?
A: It's best to wait until you get the Collector's Catalogue accessory
   before attempting to farm these adornments. Also, try to work out a
   strategy that will get you a Five-Star rating every time.

With the exception of Archylte Steppes, there are no missable adornments.
By turning back the clock all areas can visited again in their entirety,
and you can choose a different set of live trigger answers to get the
adornment you couldn't get the first time.

Several adornments can be found in multiple timezones. As an example,
several of the Yaschas Massif adornments can be found in any of the
four Yaschas Massif timezones. So if you randomly throw your Mog and
find an item in an area like Oerba 400 that doesn't appear in this
guide, you'll likely find the item listed under a different timezone
for the same area.

A big part of finding adornments is patience. Some items have high
drop rates in specific spots and you'll get it in just a few quick throws.
Other items can be found anywhere in a zone and have crazy low drop rates.
It can help to break up the monotony by making a note of the adornment
you're looking for and coming back to it later. Adornments like the
Yellow Butterfly (one of the most elusive) can be a real drain on your
constitution.

If there's an adornment you really can't find try checking the now
archived Complete Adornment List by Area GameFAQs thread and reading
through the comments left by others. Chances are you're hung up on
finding the same adornments other people had a tough time with.

*Yellow Butterfly is one of the most elusive adornments in the game. The
following are locations where people have found it.

1. Yaschas 01X - Pass of Padra
2. Yaschas 110 - Threw Mog into the largest hole in the searchlight area.
                 (The long hole with a big thing sticking out from it).
3. Yaschas 010 - I threw it down the Pass of Paddra beyond the 3 gates
                 that block off western area. If you look down there,
                 you'll see a red orb that is inaccessible. I threw Mog
                 to hit that orb several times and got it.
4. Yaschas 010 - Pass of Padra, by throwing him over the debris that you
                 pass by near the start of the area, just before entering
                 the searchlight area.
5. Yaschas 01X - Up the metal ramp from the southern most Gateway, there
                 is a crumbling building with an orange light and treasure
                 sphere. I found the Butterfly bouncing the moogle off
                 the grass in front of this light.
