Unfortunately a number of these involve getting a full collection of "Ultimate" items. Even more unfortunate is the game's poor organisation of inventory lists and its love for completely changing item names after upgrading an item to its final form, making it quite hard to track how far you've progressed through your item collection. Items in the game have five states - standard, ornate, legendary, epic and then their final "ultimate" form. An item in its ornate, legendary or epic form will be appropriately prefixed, for example "Legendary Studded Armor" or "Ornate Rock Boots". An item still in its standard state will have no prefix, while in its ultimate form the name will change entirely. As an example, the ultimate form of a "Scale Shield" is a "Dragonshield". This can make it very hard to track which items have been already upgraded. A pair of matching items can be upgraded at a forge (represented on the map with a hammer symbol) to craft a single item of the next highest state in a minigame. This means that two Circlets can be crafted to form a single Ornate Circlet, and two Legendary Circlets can be crafted to form a single Epic Circlet. It should be noted that forges earlier in the game have limits on the level of the items that can be worked on. The order of states for crafting is as such: Standard -> Ornate -> Legendary -> Epic -> Ultimate This means that to craft a single ultimate item you'll need two of its epic state, which themselves were fashioned from four of the item's legendary state, and so on. As a rule one single ultimate item comes from sixteen standard items, but luckily you'll pick up items in various states of upgrade from battling through the course of the game. ---Item List-------------------------------------------------------[CH.2]-- As described earlier, items have five states. The only time an item's entire name changes is when it is upgraded from its epic to ultimate state, so I've only listed the differences between these two states in this section. The items are listed alphabetically by their ultimate state, as you're more likely to be here discovering which of these items you've missed. They're also separated by item type, as per the awards. You can see if a location has a shop from the world map by highlighting it and pressing Y for more info. Higher state items become buyable from shops as you progress further into the game, so some might prefer to leave upgrading until a later time. I have included a list of items available at each shop, but have not included their prices as I'm not sure whether they change as better items become available during the course of the game. I've also not included the item states, as they vary as you progress through the game. These item lists were taken from a level 50 character with all stats at 75. Just some notes on the actual crafting side-game. The shop and item lists are done, and that's the huge bulk of it done. I'm happy to bring it the versioning all the way up to V1.0 now. ---Thanks----------------------------------------------------------[CH.5]-- MooGlish, Jerec and AK for their constant love and support. Gee, you guys just make me so happy I could cry. GameFAQs for their site and boards. I hold you responsible for my gaming addiction. Infinite Interactive for their game. Thanks for the crazy item renaming scheme of yours driving me crazy! <3 I Love Food. Billi Abbühl for picking up on an item I'd missed from the upgrade list. :)
