I added legal info, copyright info etc, and put some more contact info at the bottom. I also moved this very update info, and shortened the ToC. Version 1.2. I finished the Lepers cars, added car classes, and redid some of the table of contents. Thank you's: CJayC: for posting this on GameFAQS. Kao Megura, for the legal layout. Sources: Index on CD naming the weapons. Experience. NapioZapus, for agreeing to DM me until we got the combat tables for vehicle on vehicle, with skill level buffers in place. (soon to come) There are about 20 different vehicles you can drive. Most belong to the four gangs, but there are a few 'miscellaneous' ones. ------------------------------- ___________ Terminology: ----------- I.R. = I think it means Infra-red. I'm not sure. H.S. = I'm not sure. Heat-seaking? Gatling Guns: large, rotating barrel cannons. Vulcan Guns: The same. T o C ~- Table of Contents -~ ~-Gangs-~ The Company The Red Sixers The Templars The Lepers __ __ //\-Gangs-/\\ /--The Company--\ The Company has OK vehicles, if a little vanilla. (usual) Company Bike ------------ My favorite Company vehicle, a must for budding Evel Kneivals. It starts with light armor, but it is very fast. I like to go for this one if the Leper Banshee can't be found. It's strong points are: Speed, Manueverablity, and a good machine gun. Class: Motorcycle. Equipment: Front: Machine Gun, Mini-missiles (H.S.). Rear: Mini-mines. Size: Small. Company Car ----------- A good all-purpose car, and my second favorite Company car. Not my favorite, but the railgun (called artillary on this car) is it's best point. Strong Points: Railgun, (called artillary on this car) and side-fire Gatling Guns. Class: Medium car. Equipment: Front: Artillary, Gatling Gun Side: Gatling guns. Rear: H.S. Missiles. Size: Medium. Company Van ----------- I don't like this one. Slow, and in my opinion, under equipped. If you like to run around shooting gatling uns out of the front of both sides of your vehicle, this one's for you. Strong Points: 4 gatling guns, mines. Class: Minivan. (think 'Astro') Equipment: Front: 2 Gatling guns. Side Gatling guns. Read: Standard Mines. Size: Large Medium. Company B.U.S. -------------- Styled like a Hummer. I fell in love when I saw it, got inside, and fell out of love. Strong Points: It's a missile boat, if you like that, and it's very scary looking when you are being charged by it. Class: Large Hummer-like vechicle. Equipment: Front: Sidewinder Rockets, I.R. missiles, H.S. missiles. Side: Mini Missiles (H.S.). Rear: Maglev Mines. Size: Large. /--The Red Sixers--\ The Red Sixers have energy weapons. They aren't that good, but they recharge, so you don't run out of ammo. I will mention my major beef here so I won't have to state it for each car. Energy weapons (except for the railguns and rapid fire lasers) suck. Tarantula --------- A small car. Fast, manueverable, and fairly well equiped. Strong Points: Railgun, manueverabilty, speed. Class: Medium small car. Equipment: Front: Laser, Railgun. Rear: Orgone H.S. mines. Size: Small Medium. Razorback --------- My second favorite Red Sixer car. It has a rapid fire energy weapon. Strong Points: Rapid Fire rechargeable energy weapon. Size: Medium. Class: Medium car. Equipment: Front: H.S. Orgone Torpedo, Pulse Machinegun. Side: Lasers. Size: Medium. Sabretooth ---------- My favorite Red Sixer car. Looks cool, and it has a dual rapid fire energy weapon. Strong Points: Big-ass cannon, rapid fire rechargable energy weapons. Class: Medium car. Equipment: Front: Orgone Cannon, Pulse Machineguns. Side: Pulse Machineguns. Size: Slightly Smaller Medium. Armadon ------- Ugly, and it has wepaons that SUCK. No strong points except some people are scared by the teeth painted on the nose, and maybe the triple lasers and double torpedo. Equipment: Front: Triple Lasers, Double Orgone Torpedo. Side: H.S. Pulse Machineguns. Rear: H.S. Orgone Mines. Size: Medium Large. /-The Templars--\ The Templars have good cars. Excellent for beginners. Crusader -------- My second favorite Templar car. Well balanced, and deadly in skilled players hands. Strong Points: Shoots grenades out its butt, has good machineguns. Class: Medium car. Equipment: Front: Machine Guns, Psi-Flare (H.S.). Rear: Grenade Launcher. Size: Medium. Paladin ------- My favorite Templar car. Strong Points: A nasty Vulcan cannon (big gatling gun), and rear launching grenades. Class: Medium car. Equipment: Front: Vulcan Cannon, Psi-Flare (H.S.). Rear: Grenade Launcher. Size: Medium. Warlock ------- I like this car, but it's a little slow. It's not a favorite because it's a little on the slow side, so the glory goes to the Paladin. Strong Points: Lots of 'em! A lightning mortar, rear launching grenades, gatling guns, and a SALVO of H.S. flares! Class: Large car. Equipment: Front: Gatling Guns, Psi-Flare Salvo. Rear: Grenades, Lightning Mortar. Size: Large. /--The Lepers--\ The lepers have the best cars. They seem to like shotguns. A punt gun is a big shotgun. Banshee ------- My favorite small vehicle. It's fast, armored, stable, and it kicks ass against people. This is THE anti-personnel weapon. Strong Points: Fast, balanced, and double shotguns. Deadly against people. Class: Trike. Equipment: Front: Two crowd-pleasing shotguns, Mini-missiles. Rear: Mini-mines. Size: Small. Specter ------- A small-medium car, a mini-missile boat. No guns and only rockets means run, run, run. Strong Points: Lots of explosives in a car that can run around fast. Class: Smallish car. Equipment: Front: Medium rockets, Mini rockets, Top launching Mini I.R. missile salvo. Size: Medium. Banshee ------- The ultimate in car-to-people-on-foot-brutality. Shotguns all around (Punt gun = giant shotgun) and good size make this the van to go for in a fire-fight. Strong points: Shotgun power all around, size. Class: Van. Equipment: Front: Punt-gun, Medium rockets. Side: Two Punt-guns on each side. Size: Large. Mantis ------ Mean. Very Mean. It has a bad-ass cluster missile that explodes and unleashes 5-6 grenadades in a circle around the target. Faster and slightly different than the Bbanshee. Strong points: Punt-gun + Shotgun power, missiles, speed. Class: Large car. Equipment: Front: Punt-gun, Medium rockets, I.R. cluster missiles. Side: Two shotguns on each side. Size: Large-ish. /--Miscellaneous--\ Fuel Truck ---------- If you like running around with a volatile load of rocket fuel, use this. It is un-armed. You can drive it up to a parked turret, jump out, and blow it up from afar. That's about it. Update: The fuel truck's blast radius is IMMMENSE! You have to be far from it to avoid its explosion. Forklift -------- I don't know if it's in multiplay or not, but it's in the Vehicle Training Course. I think it has little machineguns, and maybe mini-missiles. Mini-Hover-Car -------------- This must be an Insider car. It is very fast and extremely manueverable to the point of being hard to control. It is weakly equipped, and it starts with 0 armor, but when it goes up, it can destroy a nearby vehicle AND the occupant. It is really that explosive. Us it like the fuel truck, or for kamikazes (get someone next to you to blow you up and you take them down with you). Redline is (C) copyright Accolade. this FAQ is copyright (c) 2000 PyroVulcanus.
