Nu Wa is a Chinese deity associated with the creation of the world. __________________ 2) Why Should I Use Her? Nu Wa is definitely one of the harder characters to master in the game, and even though she has a good moveset, it takes mad skillz to utilize Nu Wa to 100% of her potential. __________________ 3) Moves and Weapons Regular Attack: Super quick super speedy attacks that are somewhat linear. T : 360 spin. Broad crowd clearer. ST : Standard juggler. Super speedy. SST : Forward stunning lunge. Super speedy, but targets one. SSST : Charges forward and knocks away any enemies in front of her. Super speedy. SSSST(T) : Standard high juggler. Super speedy, press T for a follow up attack. Unlike other 5th charges, this one is a nice 8 hit attack-thrust, lift, slash, slam. SSSSST(T) : Multiple jabs to the enemy, finished off by a final lunge that has a knockback effect. Super speedy. Mounted Attack: Like every other mounted attack in the game(save for those few good ones). Standard right-to-left swinging. Dash Attack : Lunges forward; best for foes in a single file line. Jump Attack : Thrusts downward. Musou Attack : Multiple jabs into a single target, followed by a spinning slash. Lotsa hits. True Musou : Fire element added, plus a few extra spinning slashes with knockback effect added at the end. Lotsa hits. Weapons: Rapier Attack +17 4 Hits (Varying Stats) Swift Rapier Attack +32 5 Hits (Varying Stats) Celestial Blade Attack +39 6 Hits (Varying Stats) Nu Wa's Rapier Attack +39 6 Hits + Death Musou Max +62 HP Max +62 Attack +21 Defense +46 Weapons are obtained randomly in each stage. The later the stage, and harder the difficulty, the better the weapon you will receive. However, 4th weapons must be obtained in a precise manner. Stage: The Battle at Wan Castle Requirements: Kill Dian Wei. One of the easier 4th weapons to get. Not much to say here except don't become archer bait once you go through Dian Wei Gate. A Preiocus Item report should show up slightly Northeast of Dian Wei's inital position(past the gate, near the stairs). An easy way to complete 4th weapon quests is to have a fresh character(one who is not leveled up) be first player, and a stronger character be second player. It does not matter who the 4th weapon is for, or who kills the supply captain/gets the item. The objective is what's needed to be completed. __________________ 4) Overview Nu Wa is a linear attacker. Not many good crowd clearing moves. She attacks so fast it might be hard for some people to get down the timing for her charge moves. Okay, bad stuff done, let's get to the fun stuff! As you might've guessed, Nu Wa is super speedy. She may not have good crowd control, but since the cooldown rate between her attack is so low, being on the offensive constantly will help ensure you don't get touched often. With Way of the Musou, Nu Wa gets some extra spinning slashes that'll also help in crowd control. The knockback effect also helps. Her Musou's easily rotated, so if you feel like it, spin around a few times to ensure even pokage. As for generals, there is no reason Nu Wa should have trouble dueling them. You can either unload your Musou to ensure thorough pokage, or use your regular attack set for fine pokage. Either way, Nu Wa'll win. However, unless you're uber godly with Fu Xi's or Zhao Yun's 6th charges, avoid Nu Wa's 6th charge. The short reach of her Rapier makes it one of the harder multi-hit attacks to do, but if you can pull it off, great. The DEA is more of a sweet treat for those who've mastered Nu Wa. If only Koei gave Nu Wa max Musou, she'd be ace--30 hit Musou. *drools* Recommended Equipment: Speed Scroll/Red Hare Saddle Peacock Urn Dragon Amulet/Way of Musou/Wind Scroll Elixir Tortoise Amulet __________________ 5) Stage Strategy What stages? :PpPpPp 1. The Battle at Wan Castle Start out by killing Dian Wei. Shouldn't be too hard... until a few seconds pass. Soon, Wei reinforcements will pop up, and archer ambushes will show up everywhere! Not too tough, though. As long as Jia Xu or Hu Che Er are still alive, don't fret. Plow through Xu Huang, then head straight for Cao Cao. Eliminate any archers and subofficers in the vicinity, then kill Cao Cao. __________________ 6) Questions and Answers Q: Nu Wa wears green. She has bad fashion taste. A: That's not a question. And that's mean. :( Q: I fufilled the requirements for Nu Wa's 4th weapon, but no Precious Item? A: You sure you're playing on Hard? Q: Are you asking me a question? You're supposed to answer. A: It's, uh, rhetorical. Q: I grabbed the Precious Item, but all I got was this cruddy 1st/2nd/3rd weapon. A: :PpP, you used Gameshark/Sharkport save that has basic 4th Weapons. Start a brand new game file, or use EvilR's Weapon Customizable FAQ on GameFAQ.com to fix the problem. Q: My Nu Wa does no damage! A: 3rd time you didn't ask a question. :p Refer to above and get yourself a +20 Tiger Amulet somehow. Q: Where do I get 2nd/3rd weapons and good items? A: I shop at You Ting Wei side for weapons, Wu side for items. Hard mode for best results. Q: This FAQ is horrible. A: Make a better one then. Q: I just did. A: >_< __________________ 7) Super Duper Secret Stuff There's a reason this wasn't on the contents. Nu Wa is just POLYGONS. Bwahahah, I've crushed your poor little heart. I hope.
