MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Pumpkin Bread Categories: Breads, Squash, Herbs, Nuts Yield: 1 Loaf 1 2/3 c A-P flour 1 1/2 c Sugar 1 ts Baking soda 1 ts Ground cinnamon 3/4 ts Salt 1/2 ts Baking powder 1/2 ts Ground nutmeg 1/4 ts Ground cloves 2 lg Eggs; room temperature 1 c Canned pumpkin 1/2 c Oil 1/2 c Water 1/2 c Walnuts; chopped 1/2 c Raisins (optional) Set oven @ 350 F/175 C. Combine first 8 ingredients. Whisk together eggs, pumpkin, oil and water; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in walnuts and, if desired, raisins. Pour into a greased 9" X 5" loaf pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 65-70 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack.
