     Title: Southern Spoon Bread

  1 1/2 c  Scalded milk                
    1/2 c  Corn meal                   
    1/2 ts Salt                        
      1 tb Butter                      
      2 tb Flour                       
      1 ts Baking powder               
      1 ea Egg                         

  Stir dry ingredients in the milk. Add beaten egg and melted butter.   
  Bake 30 minutes in moderate oven.
