                       Banana Fudge Walnut Brownies

     1/4  c             Butter
   6      oz            Semi-sweet chocolate chips
     3/4  c             All purpose flour
     1/2  ts            Vanilla
     1/2  c             Sugar
     1/4  ts            Baking powder
     1/3  c             Walnuts -- chopped
     1/4  ts            Salt
     1/3  c             Ripe banana -- mashed
   1                    Egg

Heat oven to 350 F. Grease bottom only of 8" square pan.

Melt butter and chocolate in a 2 qt saucepan, over low heat, stirring
constantly.

Beat in thoroughly all other ingredients

Spread batter evenly in pan. Bake about 30 minutes or until center is
set. Cut into 2" squares.

Yield: 16 Servings
