* Exported from MasterCook * Pecan Pie Brownies Recipe By : Cindy Mitchell (RCJC12B) Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Brownies Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- Filling: 1/4 c Butter 2 tb Flour 3/4 c Brown sugar -- firmly packed 2 Eggs 1 ts Vanilla 2 c Pecans -- chopped Brownies: 21 oz Deluxe Fudge Brownie mix 1/2 c Water -- very hot 1/4 c Oil 1 Egg Heat oven to 350 F. Grease bottom only of 13x9" pan. In medium saucepan, melt margarine, stir in flour until smooth. Add brown sugar and 2 eggs and mix well. Cook over medium-low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and pecans. Set aside. In large bowl, combine brownie ingredients and beat 50 strokes with a spoon. Spread in prepared pan. Spoon filling evenly over top. Bake at 350 F for 30 to 35 minutes or until set. Do not overbake... Cool completely and cut into 24 bars. This is really great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream but only for those who want a great brownie treat and not someone counting calories! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
