      Title: Sugar 'n' Spice Apple Nut Cake

      Yield: 1 Cake
 
      4 tb Butter
      1 c  Sugar
      1    Egg
      1 c  Flour
      1 ts Baking soda
      1 ts Cinnamon
    1/2 ts Nutmeg
      1 pn Salt
      1 ts Vanilla
      2 lg Apples (2 c);
           - finely chopped
    1/2 c  Nuts
 
  Cream butter and sugar; add egg; sift in dry ingredients. Add
  vanilla, nuts, and apples. Bake in 8" square pan for 35 to
  40 minutes. Serve with topping of whipped cream or ice cream.
