MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Easy Applesauce Spice Cake (Cp) Categories: Cakes, Crockpot, Easy, Fruit, Frosting Yield: 8 Servings 19 oz Spice cake mix 16 oz Apple sauce 2 Eggs Browned Butter Frosting: 1/3 c Butter 3 c Powdered sugar 1 1/2 ts Vanilla 2 tb Milk In large mixing bowl, combine cake mix with applesauce and eggs. Blend for 30 seconds. Then beat 4 minutes on medium speed of electric mixer. Pour into greased and floured 6 cup mold. Place on bottom of crock pot. Cover cake with 4 to 5 paper towels. Cover pot, leaving lid slightly ajar, and cook on high for 2 or 3 hours. Let stand 5 minutes. Invert on cooling rack. Cool; cover with frosting. Frosting: Heat butter in saucepan over medium heat until a delicate light brown, being careful not to let it get deep brown. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar, vanilla, and milk.
