* Exported from MasterCook * GOLDEN CARROT BARS Recipe By : Serving Size : 10 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Cyberealm Cookies Low-cal Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 c Rolled Oats 1 c Cereal Flakes 1 c Whole Wheat Flour 1 tb Baking Powder 1 c Shredded Carrots 1/2 c Raisins 1 t Cinnamon 1 c Water 1/2 c Nonfat Dry Milk 1/2 c Maple Syrup 2 Egg Whites 2 tb Canola Oil 1. In a large bowl combine the oats, cereal flakes, flour and baking powder. Stir in carrots, raisins and cinnamon. 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the water and dry milk. 3. Whisk in the maple syrup, egg whites and oil. Pour over the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined; do not overmix. let stand for 10 minutes. 4. Coat a 9 X 13-inch baking dish with no-stick spray. Pour in the batter and level the top with a spatula. 5. Bake in a 350 F oven until firm to the touch, 25-35 minutes. 6. Turn off heat but leave the pan in the oven, with the door ajar, for 2 hours. 7. Cut into bars.
