---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Chocolate Crunch Bars Categories: Cookies Yield: 16 servings 1/2 c Butter 2 c Walnuts; chopped 1 c All-purpose flour 1/2 c Brown sugar, packed 1 1/2 c Powdered sugar 1/2 c Evaporated milk 2 ts Peppermint extract 3 oz Unsweetened chocolate; -melted Recipe by: Lynn Wolfgarth Melt butter in a heavy skillet. Add walnuts, flour and brown sugar; blend well. Continue stirring until crumbs are toasted and golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes. Cool. In a mixing bowl, combine cooled crumbs with powdered sugar, evaporated milk, peppermint extract and melted chocolate; blend well. Pour into buttered 9-inch square pan.
