                           Frosted Banana Bars

     1/2  c             butter -- softened
   2      lg            eggs
   2      c             sugar
   1 1/2   c            bananas (medium) -- mashed
   1      t             vanilla extract
   2      c             flour
   1      t             baking soda
   1      pn            salt
                        -----FROSTING-----
     1/2  c             butter
   1                    cream cheese -- softened
   4      c             powdered sugar -- sifted

  Mix all cake ingredients together, beat with mixer.  Spread in sheet cake  
  pan, 15"x10". Bake  at 350 for 25 minutes, let cool.                       
                                                                             
  Frosting - beat butter and cream cheese, gradually add sugar and vanilla,  
  spread on bars when they are cooled.
