   6      tablespoons   butter or margarine
   4      cups          vanilla wafer crumbs
     3/4  cup           green candied cherries -- halved
     3/4  cup           red candied cherries -- halved
     1/2  cup           candied pineapple -- chopped
     3/4  cup           dates -- chopped
   1      14 oz. can    Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk -- (1 1/4 cups)
     1/4  cup           bourbon

In a sauce pan, melt butter or margarine; pour into 15-by-10-by-1-inch
baking pan. Sprinkle vanilla wafer crumbs evenly on top. Arrange fruits and
nuts evenly on top of the crumb mixture; press down gently.  Combine Eagle
Brand milk and bourbon; pour evenly over top. Bake in 350-degree oven for 20
to 25 minutes. Remove from oven; cool completely. Cut into squares. Makes
60.
