                            Crispy Peanut Bars

     1/2  c             Butter
   1      c             Sugar
   1      c             White syrup
   1      c             Peanut butter
   1      ts            Vanilla
   1      c             Salted peanuts or mixed nuts
   8      c             Corn flakes

Bring butter, sugar, and white syrup to rolling boil. Remove from
burner and stir in 1 cup peanut butter and 1 ts vanilla. Add 1 cup
salted peanuts or mixed nuts and 8 cups corn flakes. Stir until well
coated and spread in 5x10" pan. Best when refrigerated.
