---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Chocolate Chip Tub Cookies Categories: Cookies Yield: 2 servings 1 c Margarine; softened 3/4 c Brown sugar; firmly packed 1/2 c Sugar 1 Egg; large 1/4 c Sour cream 1 ts Vanilla extract 2 c All-purpose flour 1 ts Baking soda 3/4 ts Salt 1 1/2 c Semisweet chocolate morsels 1 c Pecans; coarsely chopped Recipe by: Christmas with Southern Living 1993 Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer. Gradually add sugars, beating until blended. Add egg, sour cream, and vanilla, mixing well. Combine flour, soda, and salt; add to butter mixture, mixing well. Stir in chocolate morsels and pecans. Divide dough into 2 airtight gift containers. Yield: 2(2 1/2 cup) gifts. DIRECTIONS for gift card: Store dough for Chocolate Chip Tub Cookies in refrigerator up to 4 weeks. When ready to bake, drop by tablespoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool. Yield: 2 dozen.
