---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Swedish Melting Moments Categories: Cookies Yield: 24 Cookies Cookies: 1 c Butter 1/4 c Powdered sugar, sifted, +1 1/2 tb 1 1/4 c All-purpose flour 1/2 c Corn starch 1/4 ts Almond extract 1/4 ts Orange extract Glaze (optional): 1 c Powdered sugar, sifted 1 tb Butter, melted 1 tb Lemon juice 1 tb Orange juice Cookies: Cream butter in large bowl; gradually add sugar, beating until light. Sift in flour and corn starch; mix well. Add flavorings, blending well. Chill 1 hour. Shape dough into 1 inch balls, and place 3 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Flatten with the bottom of a glass dipped in water. Bake at 350 F for 10 minutes. Cookies do not brown. Glaze (optional): Combine all & beat with wire whisk until smooth. This is the recipe as written, I have a note that they do not spread on the pan, so I would put them closer together. On most recipes I tend to skip over the sifting, but not this one.
