      Title: Peanut Butter Squares

      Yield: 16 servings
 
      1 c  Unsifted all-purpose flour
      1 ts Baking powder
    1/4 ts Salt
    1/2 c  Peanut butter
    1/3 c  Butter or margarine; softene
    1/2 c  Granulated sugar
    1/2 c  Brown sugar; firmly packed
      2    Eggs
      1 ts Vanilla
      6 oz Semisweet chocolate chips
 
     Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together flour, baking powder, an salt;
  set aside. Beat together peanut butter and butter with sugars until fluffy.
  Beat in eggs and vanilla until blended; stir in dry ingredients until
  blended. Mix in chocolate chips. Spread in greased 8x8x2-inch pan. Bake for
  30 to 35 minutes; do not overbake. Cool in pan and cut into squares. Makes
  about 16 two-inch-square cookies.
