* Exported from MasterCook II * Cherry Pecan Logs Recipe By : Agnes Lefevre Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Cookies To Post Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 Tbsp Evaporated Milk -- or more as needed 1/2 Tsp Rum Extract 2 1/2 C Confectioner's Sugar Combine milk and rum flavoring in mixing bowl. Add sugar and knead in cherries until smooth and shiny. Shape in 6 inch logs, roll in wax paper and chill. Combine caramels (1/2 lb.) and 3 tbs. evaporated milk. Heat over boiling water until melted, stirring often. Turn in pie pan. Roll logs in caramel mixture then in pecans. Roll in wax paper and chill.
