                       Chocolate Chow Mein Clusters

  14                    Vanilla caramels (4 oz)
     1/4  c             Semi-sweet chocolate pieces
   2      tb            Chunky peanut butter
   2      tb            Water
   2      c             Chow mein noodles (3 oz can)
   1      c             Peanuts (optional)

In a 4 cup glass measure or bowl combine the first four ingredients.
Heat uncovered at HIGH for 2 minutes until all is melted, stirring
once to blend. Add noodles, stirring gently until evenly coated. Drop
from teaspoon onto waxed paper. Let stand until firm.

Yield: 30 Cookies
