* Exported from MasterCook * French Silk Pie (MHRH24B) Recipe By : Shirley Ferguson Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pies Chocolate Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- Baked pie crust (9") 1 c Unsalted butter -- softened 2 oz Unsweetened chocolate -- melt - and cool 2 ts Vanilla 4 Eggs Garnish: 1 c Whipping cream 2 tb Powdered sugar 1 ts Vanilla In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Blend in chocolate and 2 ts vanilla. Add eggs, two at a time, beating 5 minutes after each addition, or until sugar is dissolved and mixture is light and fluffy. Pour into cooled pie shell. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until filling is firm. Whip cream with powdered sugar and 1 ts vanilla until stiff.
