* Exported from MasterCook Mac * Strawberry Bavarian pie Recipe By : Jello cookbook Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pie Jello Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 Box strawberry jello - (4 serving sized) 1/4 c Sugar 1 c Water -- boiling 1/4 c Water -- cold 2 c Strawberries -- hulled, halved 1 3/4 c Cool whip topping -- thawed 1 Pie shell (9") -- baked, cooled Dissolve gelatin and sugar in boiling water. Add cold water. Chill until thickened. Arrange strawberries in bottom of pie shell. With electric mixer at medium speed, beat thickened gelatin until fluffy, thick and about doubled in volume. Blend in 1 cup of the whipped topping. Chill until mixture mounds. Spoon over berries in pie shell. Chill about 4 hours.
