                          Strawberry-Banana Pie

   1      md            Banana -- sliced
   1                    Prepared graham cracker crumb
                        - crust (9") -- cooled
   1                    Box strawberry-banana jello
                        - (4 serving sized)
     2/3  c             Water -- boiling
     1/2  c             Water -- cold
                        Ice cubes
   3 1/2  c             Cool-whip topping -- thawed
   1      c             Strawberries -- sliced

Arrange banana slices in bottom of crust. Completely dissolve gelatin
in boiling water. Combine cold water and ice cubes to make
1-1/4 cups. Add to gelatin, stirring until slightly thickened. Remove
any unmelted ice. Using wire whisk, blend in whipped topping; then
whip until smooth. Fold in strawberries. Chill until mixture mounds.
Spoon over banana in pie crust. Chill about 2 hours. Garnish with
additional strawberries and banana slices, if desired.
