MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Chocolate Mousse Pie Categories: Five, Pies, Pastry, Chocolate, Dairy Yield: 6 servings 2 c Semisweet chocolate chips 1 1/2 c Heavy whipping cream; - divided 1/4 c Confectioners' sugar 1 tb Vanilla extract 1 (9") chocolate crumb crust Whipped cream & chocolate - curls; opt In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of cream. Cook on high until smooth, 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Cool to room temperature. In a large bowl, beat remaining 1 cup cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold into chocolate mixture, one third at a time. Spoon into crust. Refrigerate at least 3 hours before serving. If desired, garnish with whipped cream and chocolate curls.
