                             GREEN TOMATO PIE

   3      cups          sliced green tomatoes
   1 1/2  cups          sugar
     1/4  teaspoon      salt
   5      teaspoons     grated lemon rind
     1/4  teaspoon      cinnamon
   5      tablespoons   lemon juice
   2      tablespoons   butter

Arrange tomatoes in layer, sprinkling each layer witha mixture of the toher
ingredients in unbaked pie shell.  Add top crust.  Bake 35-40 minutes in 350
oven.
