MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Margarita Pie With Pretzel Crust Categories: Pie, Alcohol, Dessert Yield: 2 Pies 1 c Margarine 2 1/2 c Pretzels; crushed 2 tb Sugar 3 qt Vanilla ice cream; slightly - thawed 6 oz Frozen limeade concentrate; - thawed 4 oz Gold tequila 1 oz Cointreau (orange) liqueur 2 Limes; juice & zest of, - +1 for garnish Fresh mint (optional) Preparation time: 30 minutes Freezing time: About 4 hours Melt margarine. Crush pretzels in food processor. Stir crushed pretzels and sugar into melted margarine. Mix well. Press mixture firmly into sides and bottoms of pans; freeze 1 hour. Combine ice cream, limeade, tequila, Cointreau, grated lime peel and lime juice in a mixer, preferably with a whip attachment. Whip at medium speed until well-mixed. Filling should be thick. Pile 5 heaping cups of filling into each crust. Freeze at least 4 hours until firm. Garnish pies with thin slices of lime, lime-peel curls and fresh mint.
