---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Velveeta Fudge Categories: Candies, Dairy Yield: 6 Pounds -------------------------WILLIAM LANGFORD WPHM66A------------------------- 1 lb Velveeta cheese 1 lb Lightly salted butter 1 c Cocoa 4 lb Powdered sugar 4 tb Vanilla Nuts; chopped (optional) Mix cocoa and powdered sugar in large bowl. In large saucepan, melt the cheese and butter over medium-low heat. Stir continually until dissolved. Don't cook too long or it will begin to scorch and lump on the bottom of the pan. Add vanilla and stir to mix. Pour into cocoa and powdered sugar mixture. Add choppped nuts if desired. Mix thoroughly with a large, heavy spoon. Pour into square pans, two or more. Chill and cut into squares. If possible, use a non-stick saucepan so the cheese won't stick. Also, you will need an extra large bowl as this makes over 6 lb of candy. I would recommend making a half batch the first time as it will be much easier to handle. -----
