---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: VIRGINIA DEVAN'S FUDGE Categories: Candies Yield: 1 Servings 1 1/2 c Granulated sugar 1 Stick margarine Pinch salt 3 tb Cocoa 1/2 Minus 2 tblspoons milk 1 ts Vanilla Slowly melt margarine in boiler on stove. When melted add cocoa, sugar, salt, then milk. Increase heat and boil mixture until the candy thermometer reaches soft ball stage(240 degrees F). Be sure to stir constantly so it won't burn!! Cool to lukewarm. Add vanilla. Beat with mixer until mixture becomes creamy and dulls slightly in color. Quickly pour out onto well buttered platter. Cool slightly then score into pieces.
