Combine sugar, milk, chocolate, corn syrup and salt in a 2 qt saucepan. Cook over med. Heat, stirring constantly until chocolate is melted and sugar is dissolved. Cook to 234 f or until small amount of mixture forms a soft ball in a saucer of cold water. Remove from heat and add butter. Cool mixture to 120 f without stirring.
