---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: CREAM CARAMELS Categories: Candies Yield: 20 Servings -Dottie Cross 1/2 c Chopped nuts 2 c Sugar 3/4 c Karo 1/2 c Butter 2 c Cream (20% butter fat) Sprinkle nuts in buttered 8" square pan. Mix sugar, Karo, butter and ONLY HALF of the cream in saucepan. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly. Stir in rest of cream gradually. Continue stirring as mixture thickens and cook to 250 degrees. Remove from heat and pour over nuts in pan. When cold, cut in squares or dip in (coating) chocolate. Makes 5 dozen.
