      Title: Rock Candy Experiment

  I am 12 and I know how to make rock candy. You need a pencil, 8 oz
  sugar, 4 oz hot water, a jar, a piece of string the length of the
  depth of the jar, and tape. Disolve the suger in the water. Tape
  the string to the pencil and put the string in the jar with the
  pencil laying acrose the top. Pour the sugar water in and let it
  stand a couple of days until crystals form and are hard. That is
  the recipe I know.
