---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: NELLIE'S VINEGAR TAFFY Categories: Candies Yield: 2 Pounds 2 c Sugar 1 1/2 c Light corn syrup 1/4 ts Salt 1 tb Vinegar 1/2 c Evaporated milk Cook sugar, corn syrup, salt and vinegar together until sugar has dissolved, stirring often. Slowly pour evaporated milk into the mixture, keeping the candy boiling all the time. Cook over a medium heat until the mixture reaches a firm ball in cold water, stirring constantly.
