* Exported from MasterCook * Soft Chocolate Frosting/Filling Recipe By : Annice Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Chocolate Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 c Sugar 3 tb Potato starch or corn starch 1/8 ts Salt 1 c Water -- boiling 2 tb Margarine 1 c Chocolate chips (6 oz) 1 ts Vanilla or vanilla sugar Mix sugar, starch, and salt, add boiling water. Cook, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil, boil 1 minute and remove from heat. Stir in chips until smooth. Stir in margarine and vanilla. Spread while warm. If using vanilla sugar, add with the regular sugar. Notes: The filling for Chocolate Matzo Torte--also great in a jelly roll.
