                            Vanilla Ice Cream

   2 1/2  c             Milk
   2 1/4  c             Sugar
     1/2  ts            Salt
   2 1/2  c             Half & half
   1 1/2  tb            Vanilla extract
   5      c             Whipping cream

Scald milk until bubbles form around edge. Remove from heat. Add
sugar and salt. Stir until dissolved. Stir in half and half, vanilla,
and whipping cream. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes. Freeze as
directed.

Freezing:

Ice cream should churn about 20 to 40 minutes or until motor stops.
