* Exported from MasterCook * Cranberry Nut Dessert Recipe By : Taste Of Home, Dec/Jan 1996 Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Desserts Holiday Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 c All-purpose flour 1 c Sugar 1/4 ts Salt 2 c Fresh or frozen cranberries 1/2 c Walnuts -- chopped 1/2 c Butter -- melted 2 Eggs -- beaten 1/2 ts Almond extract Whipped cream or ice cream In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Add cranberries and nuts; toss to coat. Stir in the butter, eggs and extract (mixture will be very thick if using frozen berries). Spread into a greased 9" pie plate. Bake at 350 F for 40 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream if desired. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
