                              Sugared Pecans

   4      c             Pecan halves
   1      c             Sugar
   1      ds            Salt
   2                    Egg whites -- stiffly beaten
     1/2  c             Margarine

Fold sugar and salt into stiffly beaten egg whites. Fold in pecans.
Melt margarine in a 9x12" pan, then spread in the nuts. Bake at 350 F
for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Let cool and store in an
airtight container.
