---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Quick Biscuit Shortcakes Categories: Cheesecakes, Chocolate, Bakery Yield: 1 Batch Apple Shortcakes: 1 Pkg refrigerator biscuits; - buy the very large ones, - bake according to package - directions Cinnamon sugar mixture 1 Can apple pie filling Whipped topping Chocolate Cookie Shortcakes: 1 Pkg refrigerator chocolate - cookie dough cut into - 4 pieces 2 Bananas; sliced 1 Pkg frozen raspberries in - syrup, pureed & strained Chocolate whipped topping Apple Shortcakes: Split each large biscuit in half. Place 1 half on dessert plate and top each with some of the apple pie filling. Put a layer of whipped topping over apples. Place biscuit top over whipped topping. Add a dollop of whipped topping and sprinkle over all with cinnamon sugar. Chocolate Cookie Shortcakes: Pat each piece of dough out flat on cookie sheet and bake until puffed and cooked. Let cool on flat surface. Cut each circle in half, creating half circles. Place one half circle on each plate. Top each with some banana slices and some raspberry puree. Dollop some of the whipped topping over all. Place another half circle on top and add another dollop of topping. Drizzle over all with more puree and serve immediately.
